Flame Retardant Warning

Even though NFPA 701 is the national standard, it is not a law or regulation in itself. All of our DJ line of products which includes electrical wires between two layers of fabric have documenting compliance with Title 19 (Division 1, Chapter 8). Authority to make and enforce laws and regulations are granted to state and local governments and vary for each country. Many state and local governments have not developed their own standards. With no overall national regulation, it can be difficult for our fabric suppliers to certify that a fabric will meet any flame retardancy standards, regulations and requirements of all states, cities, local government, countries and specific venues. For this reason, even fabric suppliers that note that their fabrics are “FR” or “DFR/PFR/IFR.” it is best to say that they DO NOT meet such compliance. Many of our specialty fabrics are for decoration only. If these guidelines are a requirement for the venues that you use our products, please contact us for specific fabric options available to meet your specific required standard. In many cases fire retardant sprays are also available locally and can easily be applied including Flame Stop and No-Burn.

Shipping and Delivery

At this time, Magic Backdrops ships merchandise to locations within the United States and U.S. territories, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands. Additionally, Magic Backdrops ships merchandise to Canada and Mexico, but not to other international locations. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.

International

Customs and import duties may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details.
